The following is attributed to Matthew Miller, a director:

Dr. Liz Sherwood-Randall, Deputy Secretary of State Richard R. Verma, and General Laura Richardson met with Alvaro Leyva, the unusual secretary of Colombia, this week in Bogota. Leyva, the U.S. mission and foreign minister, emphasized the significance of the partnership between the United States and Colombia for democracy, security, and human rights throughout the Western Hemisphere. In order to further improve our strong counternarcotics and protection cooperation, the U.S. delegation and the foreign minister also talked about efforts to fairly control unusual migration.
