Acting Under Secretary of Defense for Policy Sasha Baker spoke by phone today with the Saudi Deputy Minister of Defense, His Highness Prince Abdulrahman bin Ayyaf al-Muqrin. Under Secretary Baker congratulated her counterpart on his recent appointment and reaffirmed the U.S. commitment to a strong defense partnership with Saudi Arabia.
Both leaders underscored the endurance and importance of the U.S.-Saudi strategic partnership, which spans more than 80 years.
