HOUSTON- Following an investigation by Homeland Security Investigations ( HSI ) Houston, a judge sentenced an Houston woman to serve 40 years in federal prison on August 2 for multiple charges of child sexual abuse and for sexually abusing children.
Elexis Kiera Sidney, 29, was given a 480-month federal prison term in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas’ sexual abuse of children, distribution of child pornography, and possession of such material. Sidney received a 360-month sentence for the charge of sexual abuse and 120 times for each of the charges related to child sexual abuse. The 120-month sentence for child sexual abuse materials convictions may be served at the same time. In federal prison, a child’s sexual abuse sentence will run concurrently with all other convictions for 480 months in total.
Sidney will spend the rest of her life on supervised release after serving her jail sentence, and the judge also ordered her to give$ 18,000 in restitution to the patients. During that period, she must abide by a number of rules intended to limit her exposure to kids. Additionally, Sidney must sign up as a sex offender. On May 24, 2022, she entered a guilty plea to the costs.

When Sidney posted sexually explicit material involving kids in a secret Kik talk team in December 2018, law enforcement officials first became aware of her. She first posted a picture of herself in the bathroom dressed, and then she posted another video of the same thing. This time, however, she was touching herself while being accompanied by a naked, teenaged child who was about two years old. The small and Sidney were seen touching each additional sexually in another video.
Officials visited Sidney’s home on December 10, 2018, and she admitted to making the video and using her Kik account there. Since November 2018, she had been disseminating and receiving child sex abuse material in the Kik talk group, according to a forensic analysis of her electrical equipment and online store accounts. Authorities also discovered two pictures of a three-year-old small family as well as images and videos of Sidney sexually abusing the exact minor target. During the research, law enforcement also discovered about 120 videos and 100 images of child porn.
